Given the generosity of our many supporters and partners, PFLAG Springfield/SWMO has built a strong partnership base to serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. One way we do that? Funding the next generation of leaders and change-makers.
PFLAG Springfield/SWMO awards $7,500 spread across three scholarships for LGBTQ+ folks who are current SW Missouri residents and pursuing higher education. For more information on applying for these scholarships, please click on the link below.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a current resident of Missouri’s Barry, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, Stone, Taney, Webster, or Wright counties.
- Accepted to attend, or currently enrolled in a technical/vocational program pursuing certification OR accepted to attend, or currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Be a self-identified LGBTQ+ student.
- Have demonstrated community service or a desire to serve the LGBTQ+ community.
